Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (English: And Love Happened) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language romance film directed by Rahul Rawail and starring Bobby Deol and Aishwarya Rai. A brief summary of the plot
The story revolves around Ashi (Aishwarya Rai), a free-spirited young woman who belongs to a conservative Indian family that prefers arranged marriages over love marriages. Her father (Anupam Kher) has arranged her marriage with Rohit (Avtar Gill), a family friend's son who lives in Switzerland. Ashi agrees to meet Rohit before marriage, but on one condition: she wants to meet him anonymously and observe his personality. Her father agrees and sends her to Switzerland.
However, when Ashi reaches Switzerland, she learns that Rohit is away on a business trip and nobody knows when he will return.
